Fall 2022 Digital Magazine
Through our Fall 2022 GGM-Chi Digital Magazine GGM-Chi teens explored the theme “What Equality Means to Me,” as well as the prompt below: To achieve an equal and equitable future, we must ask what equality means to us as individuals and then as a society. What injustices do we see in the world around us, and how can we start to talk about these issues? Some topics explored include: the intersection of gender and/or race in politics, women in stem, colorism, etc.
Summer 2022 Digital Magazine
The Summer 2022 GGM-Chi Digital Magazine was created in collaboration with The Fund for Women’s Equality and the ERA Coalition. Through this partnership GGM-Chi teens explored the Equal Rights Amendment: what it is, its history, how it affects them, their community, their country, how their voice matters in its development, and what it means for their future.
Teens worked individually, or in pairs, to explore the theme, “Equal Voice, Equal Future”, as well as the prompt below: What does equality look like for you in a post-pandemic economy; an equal future? What does the ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment mean to you and how could it improve and enhance your life? Some topics explored include: gender and/or racial justice, pay and work, sexual misconduct, harassment, and/or assault, etc.
